How to Set Domain Name Server (DNS) for your WHM Hosting business?

WHM Means Web Host Manager. Generally who are use or using Hosting Business They are well known this word. When you are buy from a hosting service company, To Retail or retailer or to doing dedicated Hosting business, this Hosting company gave your retailer or dedicated Hosting WHM panel setup what would you like under your company or domain. Under which domain you will start your hosting business at first you should host in WHM hosting. Otherwise do not work to set DNS. In this case you should select a DNS for your company’s website domain or any other domain.

1. Generally how to set a domain and hosting this way u have to set. Then you log in your domain C –panel. From domain C-panel home to show bellow’s figure you should select your domain. In one domain C-panel many domains are there. You will select that DNS which you will make. Then from bellow’s onshore you will select Domain Registration Service and click right arrow.

2. The main page of domain as like bellow’s page. Click on Child Name Servers. Originally to set DNS/NS for hosting business from this page.

3. Now set your DNS and IP address getting from hosting company. Obviously hosting company will gives IP address. You will set DNS name two ways:

I. The Place of host name you will set like this….dns1.company.com, dns2.company.com ... .ns4.company.com, Or, II. In the place of host name ns1.company.com, ns2.conpany.com …..ns3.company.com, it is only difference between name (In place of DNS -NS) functionally there are no difference between them. Submit after gave host name and DNS.

4. In this way set DNS by whole IP address one by one. As like bellows figure.

5. If you done any mistake to set IP or DNS it will not work. If you done any mistake then u will modify host name and IP. If you want to delete any one then just click the delete button.

Now, DNS already set for your hosting business. It will take some time for active DNS. Don’t worry about this. If you face any problem then you will take support from your hosting provider.
