Today 20 February, the last moment of our campaign for Google Doodle Bangladesh we some guys have been working for since last 2 months. Specially, we want this moment from Google in 21st February, The international mother language day. At this moment many of us may know about this matter. For this, especially I’m so nervous and feeling so many tens of this moment both if we got it after 12.00 am or not. ;)

From here Sorry for my bad command in English language! ;)

For many of us till now do not know what is Google Doodle and how it works for any reason. Want to know this matter? Let’s come to the main point of view...

The search engine giant Google Inc. Started there this service from 1998 even there company “Google” was not that time incorporated officially. This Doodle day or event means the moment of a day when someone famous people male or female was born, dead or having marriage anniversary, the day of getting independence one nation from another nation, the moment that anybody who are famous was getting his/her success or invented some tremendous historical thing in the world is celebrated on the Google home page for only this desire day internationally or nationally with a special logo or symbol based on the event is called Google Doodle. Finally that is called ‘Doodle Logo”. You can have a look of Google's recent Doodle Logo Here :D

For this above reference and by following of Google said on their doodle about page that they are eager to hear new doodle ideas from their users, this instant We some of the Bengali guys wish to have our own doodle day and finally we choose 21st February for this event. Because this day has international recognition from many individual countries and also from UNESCO, United Nation and have great information on Wikipedia directory.

The morning of 15 December’2011, at that very begging of this Doodle campaign when I didn’t think about it and then I was just chatting with my Facebook friend and seeing daily mail and something look like. Then I discovered a page in my Facebook home page I was liked and saw that one of my Facebook friend and senior brother Md. Mamun the admin of that page was shared a photo of Martyr Monument in Benglai “Shohid Minar” and wrote some text that all of we send a request mail to Google to having a doodle for 16th December, our Victory Day! We many of us did it but alas we did get it on this short time perhaps! :(

After missing this event me and Md. Mamun Bro, he is currently living in Cyprus made a private group and started a discussion about how we work for it to get our next doodle day. After one or two days we added one more creative guy Mazedul Islam bro in our group. Then we three guys did...

1. Created Facebook Fan page and an Event, Twitter ID, Google Plus Page.
2. Started collecting info from different reliable resources then made some Bengali blog post to increase people’s awareness of it in several community Bengali blogs.
3. Organize a logo design competition for the duration of 7days.
4. Collecting logos make an album of the logo contest, made a voting system to get the best one from there.
5. And finally we got one logo and it has been created Tanzil Islam, a young doctor and Google Map design Moderator from Bangladesh.

6. Then finally we started sending proposal latter with the winning logo by dint of our campaign rules.
7. Then we have got automatic support from our online blog media like: TechPriyo and some other, Online News Media like: Daily Kalerkontho, Daily ProthomAlo, Daily Somokal, Daily Sangbad, Daily Amar kagoj, Daily Jonokontho, Daily Sornamoti and many more.
8. We not only some guys don't do this alone with just an event, page etc but many of our guys make this event individually on their own stage cordials.

So, dear viewers what you would like to say about this? We just try the best from our location and nothing lots of more I think! Now, we can just wait more than some hours to see what would happen with our proposal. :-)

Oh yes! One question I mentioned in this post title: What If We Didn’t Get? Let’s talk something about it...

If Google accepted our proposal, in one sentence there is no boundary to celebrate the tremendous and glorious moment.

Or, if we fail to get? We do not mind because sometimes it would happen with this kind of event I think. So, we need to wait for the next 21st February or again through a new proposal for 16th December, Our Victory day. That’s enough, I think! :-)

Good day! Be well and take care. :-)
